Unica Access & Security International has been a close partner of DPG Media for years. After the successful migration to a uniform security policy for the offices in the Netherlands, the knowledge and expertise of Unica Access & Security International was again called upon with the construction of a brand new head office in Antwerp.

We have been working with DPG Media – then De Persgroep – since 2011. In principle, access control for the printing plants in Amsterdam and Rotterdam was arranged by Unica Access & Security International. The services have been expanded over the years and it has grown into a close partnership. For example, Unica Access & Security International currently provides access control and video surveillance for all DPG locations. After the successful migration of the offices in the Netherlands, the knowledge and expertise of Unica Access & Security International was once again called upon with the construction of a brand new head office in Antwerp. DPG Media also wanted one access control system for all locations in Belgium. “Thanks to the close partnership, Unica Access & Security International has been able to completely relieve us of our worries by offering a uniform security policy. The beautiful new office of DPG Media is located on Mediaplein in Antwerp. While the first building blocks of the building were being laid, Unica Access & Security International looked at the safety plan for the new location. In the same period, in addition to the usual challenges that are typical of an extensive new construction project, there were also the necessary challenges due to the measures regarding corona. The latter required a lot of flexibility and creativity from Unica Access & Security International and all its suppliers. The location in Vilvoorde – the entertainment building of DPG Media – was renovated in the same period. At this location, different access systems were used, which created a confusing situation for both employees and management. The renovation was used to switch to the same access systems at this location as at other locations, which has resulted in a BeNe-transcending access and security policy for DPG Media.

Despite the tight construction schedule, the challenges surrounding the corona measures and high time pressure, Unica Access & Security International has managed to deliver a tailor-made access control system to DPG Media, with which all employees can move safely between the different DPG Media locations with a uniform access pass. .
